It was an absolute stroke of good luck that I found this hotel for our stay in Ushuaia! Maia and Sebastien are a wonderful husband and wife team who have created the most beautiful small hotel with the loveliest garden: you immediately feel like you are in a warm, welcoming, authentic Argentine home - not a commercial hotel at all. Because Maia is a descendant of one of the oldest families in the region and has a degree in tourism, she was able (and willing!) to advise me as to the best way to discover the highlights of the area in our two short days (December 30 & 31st, 2025). From the beginning of our correspondence, Maia promptly answered my every question and expertly made the reservations for us to have a private guide each day. Maia only deals with honest, local, private individuals that she knows personally - not commercial tourist companies. Our two guides were absolutely delightful gentlemen who spoke perfect English and had a deep knowledge of the area. One day was spent discovering the town and the National Park, including a delightful ride on the prisoners' steam engine train. The second day was an unforgettable adventure: an off-road journey in a 4X4 up into the Andes mountains, to crystal clear lakes, and ending with a ride on horses at a private ranch where the owner himself prepared - just for us - a traditional "Asado" meal - a feast of meats and sausages and vegetables that he barbequed on-site. Speaking of food, Maia's husband Sebastien is the chef at the hotel. He makes everything from scratch and it is all scrumptious. We had the unique experience of enjoying a lavish New Year's Eve dinner prepared by Sebastien, and accompanied by fine local wines. After dinner, he made a roaring fire outside at the firepit and at the stroke of midnight, he served us champagne to toast in the new year as we gazed up at the Southern Cross in the dark night sky. I give this delightful hotel and its gracious owners 5 stars; I would give them more if it were possible. Tierra de Leyendas is a jewel.

We stayed at 3 different hotels while in Ushuaia. This one was the best for anyone looking for a place that feels like home with a luxury feel and five star food. It feels like an oasis away from the city center and yet so close by. Sebastian will recommend activities if you like. He’s also a chef and his meals are fantastic. He has his own greenhouse you can visit and he buys everything fresh to order. The rooms are large with a sofa and a beautiful view as well as a jacuzzi tub and a multiple jet shower. It’s a short walk to the beagle canal. And a 10 minute uber to the center of town or the airport. And it’s about 15-20 minutes to the National park entrance. Tierra de Leyendas es la mejor elección que podríamos haber hecho para pasar estos días en Ushuaia, ya desde el momento de la reserva en que recibimos de Maia un archivo lleno de información sumamente útil sobre el destino y la posibilidad de actividades. Al llegar, fuimos recibidos tan amablemente por Sebastián quien estuvo pendiente cada día de lo que pudiéramos necesitar y nos preparó los desayunos más ricos, todo elaborado por él (panes, dulces, medialunas, budines y mucho más), como así también las buenísimas cenas (gran chef), haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Siempre dispuesto a la charla amena y rica en información. Mención aparte para Lucía que nos traía la cena con una gran sonrisa y con quien daba gusto conversar. Las habitaciones y lugares para estar fueron muy cómodos y acogedores. Sin duda el mejor lugar en el fin del mundo

Tuvimos el enorme placer de hospedarnos en este encantador hotel en Ushuaia, atendido directamente por sus propietarios, para nuestra luna de miel, y realmente superó todas nuestras expectativas. Desde el primer momento, los dueños nos recibieron con una calidez increíble, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. La atención y el servicio personalizado hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera aún más especial. Se aseguraron de que nuestra luna de miel fuera inolvidable, brindándonos recomendaciones excelentes y consejos útiles para aprovechar al máximo nuestro tiempo en Ushuaia. Uno de los puntos más destacados fue la comida. Cada mañana disfrutamos de un desayuno casero delicioso, medialunas recien horneadas y hechas en casa, preparado con dedicación y sabor, la mejor manera de empezar el día. Y las cenas… ¡una maravilla! Sebas es un cocinero excepcional, y se encargo de hacernos conocer lo mejor de la cocina tradicional patagonica. Sus habilidades culinarias hicieron que cada cena se sintiera como una ocasión especial. Más allá del servicio impecable y la comida exquisita, lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue la hospitalidad y calidez de los dueños. Su pasión y dedicación se notan en cada detalle, y eso hizo que este viaje fuera aún más memorable, resaltando en especial que la dedicacion de Maia y Sebas por una atencion personalizada marca la diferencia, en especial cuando se trata de un hotel que no se puede encontrar facilmente en plataformas comerciales. Si buscas un lugar que no solo ofrezca alojamiento, sino una experiencia inolvidable, este es el indicado. ¡No podríamos recomendarlo más y sin duda volveremos!

Hartelijk ontvangst en prima schoon hotel. Fantastisch en hartelijk ontvangst. Eigenaar kan heerlijk koken en mooie verhalen vertellen. Ontbijt was heerlijk , altijd met o.a. vers fruit. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van enkele kleine restaurants en een bar en grote supermarkt. Het centrum is bereikbaar met een taxi. ”

Come sentirsi a casa a Ushuaia Ho soggiornato 3 giorno in questa struttura deliziosa, molto curata e accogliente. Il proprietario, Sebastian, ci ha accolti con gentilezza ed è stato molto disponibile. Inoltre offre la possibilità agli ospiti di cenare nella struttura con un menù cucinato da lui personalmente. Ne abbiamo approfittato per due cene e sono state una meglio dell'altra. A Ushuaia non potevo fare scelta migliore, un posto dove tornerei subito e che consiglierei caldamente a chiunque voglia soggiornare in un posto bello, intimo e familiare. Grazie mille Sebas!

Excelente estadía en Tierra de Leyendas! Junto con mi Esposa nos alojamos 5 noches en Tierra de Leyendas y honestamente nos sentimos muy a gusto durante la estadía y con la elección que hicimos. Apenas llegamos nos recibió Sebastian con algo rico para tomar, nos expuso varias actividades para hacer y charlamos bastante sobre distintos aspectos de la ciudad. Todas las mañanas empezábamos con un delicioso y perfecto desayuno, donde además de tener vista al Canal Beagle, conversábamos con Sebastian sobre lo que queríamos hacer o sobre las dudas que teníamos en base a las cosas que íbamos conociendo de Ushuaia. Es destacable la calidez, la amabilidad y la disponibilidad hacia nosotros por parte de Sebastian; no hubo pregunta que no nos respondiera y siempre estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades. Hay varias noches en las que se ofrece el servicio de cena; es muy recomendable probarla ya que son menús muy ricos. La habitación es muy espaciosa y el baño es correcto; tiene una muy buena presión de agua. Si tienen ganas de tener un trato personalizado, descansar, comer cosas ricas y pasarla bien, no lo duden reserven en Tierra de Leyendas y disfruten del fin del mundo!

Confort et taille humaine, un excellent choix Très bel hôtel... Un cadre charmant, chaud et plein de douceur. Un endroit où on se sent immédiatement en confiance et serein. Le patron est très sympathique, plein d excellents conseils et de petits trucs. Il est très attentif à tout. L hôtel respire le propre et le confort à taille humaine
